The Speakers


Victoria is a second year dental student at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She is from a Guatemalan background, and frequently visits friends and family there.


Sonia is a young dental professional who has an Indian ethnic background, specifically Punjabi. She keeps in touch with her roots through participation in national bhangra competitions. Sonia enjoys watching Bollywood movies, traveling, and creating art in her free time. Her religious background is Hindu and she speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.


Divya Thakur is a D4 student at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She is of Indian origin specifically practicing Hinduism. She visits India every 5 years to keep in touch with her roots. She hails from Punjab which is a state north of India.


Farihah Khan is a fourth year dental student at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She is a Muslim of Pakistani decent. She is passionate about diversity awareness and creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone regardless of their background. In her free time, Farihah likes to work with her local youth group and invest time in her small jewelry and henna art business.


Alaina is a D4 student originally from the Midwest. She is of the Jewish faith and was raised in a Modern Orthodox house hold. Alaina is looking forward to her general practice residency starting this summer.

Golda Erdfarb

Golda Erdfarb is the course director for Operative Dentistry and Dental Anatomy and Occlusion at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She got her dental degree from New York University and did her GPR at New York Hospital Queens. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys working together with her students in all capacities. She resides in New York City with her three sons and husband.

Robert Mckernan

Robert Mckernan is from Phoenix, Arizona and is a BYU alumni. He enjoys competing in Iron Man and is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
